The Southern Hockey League held it's Annual General Meeting on Sunday, Sept. 9 in Fredericton. All teams were represented at the meeting and are ready to go for the 2007/08 season.
League President Sheldon Currie updated the league on changes to senior hockey from several HNB meetings held over the summer. Currie then entertained proposed changes to the league constitution.
Under new business the topic of expansion was mentioned. There is interest from a couple of teams from a defunct league regarding joing the SHL.. The Draft was a major topic of the meeting along with scheduling. Last seasons unbalanced schedule was frowned upon in favor of a balanced schedule. |
